SHACMAN X5000 460HP LNG Tractor

The 1,000L LNG cylinder is probably the first thing long-distance operators will notice. It gives the truck a much larger fuel reserve than a small-capacity gas setup. The actual driving range will still depend on trailer weight, road conditions, speed, temperature and LNG consumption, so it is better not to use one fixed range figure for every customer.

The rear air suspension is another practical point. On long highway runs, the truck spends many hours carrying a trailer, and air suspension can help improve ride quality. It also makes this configuration more road-oriented than a tractor designed mainly for construction sites.

The 460 HP / 2,300 N·m powertrain gives the truck enough output for regular heavy trailer work. The published engine data also shows a 12.54L displacement and 1,900 rpm rated speed.

The X5000 cab in this configuration comes with several features aimed at everyday driving rather than just basic transportation.

Electric windows, central locking with remote control and electrically heated mirrors make routine operation easier, especially in colder weather. The driver's main air-suspension seat is combined with the rear air suspension, giving the whole vehicle a more road-focused setup.

The Flaming Gold metallic paint also gives the truck a more distinctive appearance compared with the usual white or standard-color fleet trucks.

For customers who prefer CNG rather than LNG, this truck can be configured with a different gas-cylinder arrangement.

The listed option is 8 × 212L + 8 × 80L CNG cylinders, with an additional RMB 20,000 compared with the stated configuration.

The two fuel systems should not simply be judged by tank volume. LNG and CNG use different storage systems and are better suited to different refueling networks and operating routes. For export orders, the availability of the required gas fuel at the customer's destination should be checked before choosing the final configuration.

Trailer options include flatbed, low-bed, skeleton, side-wall, dump, cement tanker and fuel tanker models. If the customer already has a trailer, we can also check the tractor configuration against the trailer's kingpin, weight and operating requirements.

Before delivery, the main systems are checked, including the engine, transmission, axle, steering, brakes, electrical equipment and gas-related components.

For LNG vehicles, we also pay attention to the gas cylinder installation and related connections before shipment. Technical information and spare-parts support can be provided according to the final vehicle configuration.

Complete tractors are normally shipped by Ro-Ro or bulk vessel, depending on the destination port and shipping plan.

Before loading, the vehicle is cleaned and prepared for sea transportation. Important external parts are protected, and the truck is secured properly during loading to reduce unnecessary movement during the voyage.

For export customers, we can arrange shipping according to the destination or work with the customer's nominated freight forwarder.
